About

A small collection with an editor, not an algorithm.

Aperture Photo Cloud is a small, carefully curated collection of desktop wallpapers. We started in October 2026 with a simple idea: instead of endless pages of everything, publish a short list of photographs and digital artworks that we would actually put on our own screens.

Every picture in the collection is checked by hand before it goes online. We look at composition, colour and how an image behaves behind desktop icons and widgets — a wallpaper is a background, and it should stay quiet and clean. Where possible we publish both a Full HD and a 4K UHD version of each image.

The collection grows gradually as we review new work. A part of it comes from our own archive; the rest arrives from photographers and digital artists who send us their pictures through the submit page. Everything published here is free for personal desktop use — see the license page for details.

If you want to say hello, report an image or ask a question, write to hello@aperturephotocloud.com. We read everything, even if we cannot always answer quickly.
